Lee Hau Yi is a self-taught artist from Hong Kong.

“I work most frequently with mixed media. Artistically speaking, I am an autodidact; I come from a multi-discipline design background of applied media art studies that inform my practice. My aim is to reflect the rich complexity of life in a contemporary world, drawing discursive elements together from diverse sources such as plural humanity, embodying a creative economy, cultural diversity, arts, technology, politics and ecology. Human emotion and the lived experience dominate much of my work.”
